Information & Guidance for our patients   


Covid-19 Vaccination status:

People living in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their COVID-19 vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of the Moderna, AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine, or one dose of the Janssen single-dose vaccine.  Vaccine status is available through the NHS COVID Pass service from:

  • the NHS App which you can download from app stores
  • the NHS website
  • by calling 119 and requesting a paper letter

You will need to register to use the online services.  Please note it may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified.

If you cannot access the online services, and you have had both doses of the vaccine, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119.  It may take up to 7 working days for the letter to arrive.

We are NOT able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status. Please do not contact us about your COVID-19 vaccination status unless you have been advised to by the 119 service.

When you’re planning your travel, you should check the latest information on demonstrating your COVID-19 status when travelling abroad on the website. Make sure there is enough time to get proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status before you are due to travel.

Covid-19 vaccination programme

Bromley  Connect Primary Care Network (comprising Dysart, London Lane Clinic and SouthView surgeries) are now running a Covid-19 vaccination centre here at London Lane Clinic.

First doses:

When you become eligible for a Covid vaccination, you will be contacted by a text, phone call or a letter inviting you to make an appointment at the London Lane Clinic centre.  So it is essential we have your correct contact details so that you are not missed.

Please do not contact us if you haven’t received an invitation yet.  You will be contacted when it is the right time for you to book an appointment.

London Lane Clinic will be contacting ALL patients from the 3 surgeries when their vaccination is due.

Second doses:

You will need to go back to where you had your first dose vaccination.

Your second dose has been reserved for you and will be the same as the first dose.  We will contact you in due course and an appointment will be made for you to have your second dose.  You will not be forgotten, you will be contacted.

Please help us and do not contact the practice or other NHS services to get your second appointment.  Your support is appreciated to keep phone lines open for people who need to make appointments for other health matters.



To book a Covid-19 test, you must have one of these 3 symptoms:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • loss of sense of smell or taste or it’s changed

The surgery is open but for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, our usual appointments system has been changed to try to contain the spread of coronavirus and ensure the safety of all our patients and staff.

If you think you need to see a doctor, please use the E-consult in the blue box on our home page.  This will be triaged by a doctor and if it is felt that you need to be seen face-to-face, you will be invited into the surgery.  Otherwise, you will be contacted via telephone, video call, text or email.

If you are not comfortable with filling in on-line forms,  please call the surgery on 0208 460 2661 and a member of the reception staff will complete and submit the on-line form for you.

Face-to-face appointments are also available.


Our nurses and HCAs are providing the following services:

  • Child and baby immunisations
  • Dressings
  • Cervical smears
  • Vaccinations for pregnant women
  • B12 vaccinations
  • Depo injections
  • Zoladex and other hormone injections
  • Blood tests
  • Phone and face-to-face consultations for contraception, mental health reviews and asthma reviews
  • ECGs


We are no longer issuing paper prescriptions. When requesting your prescription, please nominate your preferred pharmacy and we will email it through to that pharmacy.

Fit notes cannot be collected from the surgery.  Where possible, they will be emailed, otherwise they will be posted
