Please be advised that it is the patient’s responsibility to contact the surgery regarding test results. On average please allow four working days for your test results to come back from the hospital before contacting the surgery, unless your doctors has advised otherwise. Please note that X-ray results take a little longer.
Occasionally reception staff may be asked by a doctor to contact you regarding your results – if that is the case, please do not be unduly alarmed as this does not necessarily mean the issue is very serious. Reception staff would then advise if you need to book a telephone appointment or come and see a doctor to discuss your results.
To obtain your test results, please telephone the surgery on 0208 460 2661 between 2pm and 6pm when the staff have more time to help you. Sometimes they cannot always give full results over the phone. If the result is complicated, they may offer you a telephone appointment or an appointment to see a doctor.
Alternatively, you can view your results online via EMIS Access – see notes under Appointments for details on how to register to use EMIS Access online services.
To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the person who has had the test, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
